Our venue is a much sort after establishment for functions and although we are firstly a Yacht Club for members, we do hire out our facilities.

Hire options:
We are a not-for-profit club run by volunteers. We ask you to set up the room as you want and return it as you find it. You need to be a member to hire the club.
Hiring terms for events:
• Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before completing your venue enquiry form. We will try and respond as quickly as possible.
• Please note that 21st Birthday parties are not allowed - and will be shut down immediately by staff.
**Discounted rates apply for Community Groups and Senior Sailing Members of GBYC.
Catering:
No outside catering is allowed at our venue.
Any catering requirements will be inhouse by our Restaurant.
Bar Facilities: We have a strict liquor licence and ask all functions to adhere to these conditions.
If you would like to offer alcohol at your function (refer to Terms & Conditions).
Options for serving alcohol to your guests:
- You must supply a meal if you would like your guests to purchase alcohol, or
- You can put on a bar tab and pay for your guests drinks (please let us know at time of booking)
- We can apply for an extended licence on your behalf for a cost (Very Limit supply) if you would like your guests to purchase alcohol with no meal. Must be approved.
Event styling and decorating:
You are welcome to decorate for your own event, however, decorating from ceiling or walls is NOT allowed. This may only be done through our recommended event stylist Wes Enterprizes.
ROOM OPTIONS FOR HIRE
Entire Yacht Club (inc's Main Hall, Lounge room, BBQ & lawn area)
(NOTE: not available during the sailing season on Saturdays) Saturday is our sailing day so we are busy with Junior Sailing in the morning and Seniors in the afternoon. Rigging of boats will be on lawn beach side in front of the Alfresco area. In the afternoon members will need to have access to the bar/restaurant. If you are happy to cordon off the BBQ area for this and hire the main hall/alfresco area you can enquire availabilities on Saturdays during the sailing season).
Main Hall (min 4 hour bookings) - can include alfresco area directly outside
Capacity standing is 200 and Seated 140
Lounge room (min 2 hrs booking) - only available when the main hall is open
Could be used for Private Dining Room
Capacity 50 people
BBQ & lawn area (min 2 hrs booking)
Access to toilets is outside around the main hall venue
Training Centre (min 2 hours)
Capacity is 50 people seated
Located to the left of the club (separate from the Main Hall)
Inside the Training centre
Access to a Smart TV, Air-Conditioning, Tables and Chairs.
Access to Kitchette and accessible toilets. Plug into our Smart TV via USB or HDMI
Perfect for training, conferences, meetings.
Wedding Packages (inc's Main Hall, Lounge room, BBQ & lawn area if available)
With stunning views of the waters of Geographe Bay and the iconic Busselton Jetty, our Main Hall boasts a central dance floor, is ideally suited for weddings/ receptions. There is also the option of holding your wedding ceremony on the grassed area directly in front of the main hall.

Our location provides a stunning option for a wedding
• Hire package includes 12 hour booking of venue only
• Exclusive use of the Main Hall, Lounge room and outside licenced lawn area and alfresco area (not BBQ area)
• Includes 2 bar staff
• Includes 2 hours of cleaning (anything over this will be taken out of your bond)
• NOTE: you will need to arrange to set up the venue and pack up leaving the venue as you find it.
