         Sailing at Geographe Bay Yacht Club

Ahoy!!

On behalf of the GBYC Sailing Committee, Staff and Volunteers I welcome you to Geographe Bay Yacht Club.

Geographe Bay Yacht Club is home to some of the worlds best coastline and crystal clear waters, providing an amazing venue for sailing.

We have a great variety of Dinghy, Catamaran and Keel classes who regularly participate in weekly sailing races and we are lucky to have an exciting junior group that is growing every year with the support of a fantastic parents and volunteers.

GBYC is an Australian Sailing Accreditored Training Centre with our own fully trained and AS accreditored instructors and coaches, designated training facility & RS Quest training boats. We provide the Tackers program, Youth and Adult Sail Training courses + work closely with Adventure Sailing who deliver a number of additional certified boating courses at the club.

The GBYC sailing calendar combines our regular weekly club racing fixtures with a number of regattas that entice both the casual sailor all the way to the elite.

We are bringing the fun of sailing back to GBYC with a number of scheduled Fun Race days during the season. These events not only invite all boat classes, ages and skill levels from our regular members, but also provide opportunities for members of the community to jump on a boat include our Social Sailing friends to participate and join in the fun. So keep a look out for these on the events page.
