I, hereby assume all of the risks of participation in the following activity being conducted at Geographe Bay Yacht Club

In submitting this form I confirm that all information is correct and accurate and that I agree to the following:
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CAMPERS: Due to Shire restrictions, this year’s camping permit ONLY applies to TENTS to the grassed area EAST of the clubhouse. There are no powered sites
Please note: Vehicles cannot be driven onto or left in camping area.
-The insurance cover as provided is current and in force.
-I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of World Sailing and by all other rules that govern the regatta and I acknowledge that RRS 4 - Decision to Race, places sole responsibility for a boat deciding to participate in a race or continue racing as hers alone. The Organising Authority, its associates and appointees will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death or inconvenience sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- By participating in an event of the EAustralia Day Regatta, competitors automatically grant to the Organising Authority, and their sponsors, the right in perpetuity to make, use and show, from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions of the athlete during the period of the competition without compensation.
I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this activity, and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. I also state that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude my participation in this activity.
I acknowledge that this Assumption of Risk and Waiver Release of Liability Form will be used by the event holders, sponsors and organisers of the activity in which I may participate, and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity.
In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this activity, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns as follows:
(1) I waive, release and discharge from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my travelling to and from this activity, Geographe Bay Yacht Club & Dusborough Bay Yacht Club and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents and the activity holders, sponsors and volunteers;
(2) Indemnify, hold harmless, and promise not to sue the entities or persons mention in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation I this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.
Insurance
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $10,000,000 per incident or the equivalent.
Media Rights
By participating in this event, participants automatically grant Geographe Bay Yacht Club & Dusborough Bay Yacht Club, and their sponsors, the right in perpetuity to make, use and show, from time to time at their discretion, any pictures or video and other reproductions of the participant during the period of the event without compensation

Cancellation/Refund Policy
In every circumstance where a refund is requested, the first option is to transfer the participant to another applicable Course/Event. Where this is not possible, the following conditions apply:
- Less than 3 days prior to the Course/Event - No Refund
- More than 3 and less than 7 days prior to the Course/Event - 50% Refund (less any transaction fees)
- More than 7 days prior to the Course/Event - 100% Refund (less any transaction fees)
Cancellation due to illness, injury or death:
If a participant is unable to participate in the Course/Event and can produce appropriate evidence, the fee will be fully refunded (less any transaction fee applied by the merchant).
Event cancellation:
If the Event is cancelled by the event organiser, the fee will be fully refunded.
Force Majeure:
If a Course/Event is cancelled due a reason outside the control of the organiser, a refund may be provided at the discretion of the Course/Event organiser.
