Open Fun Race - 4th January 2025

This sailing event will only be run with suffiecient number of registrations

Registrations close at midnight 1st January 2025

All GBYC Classes + Social Sailors invited

(Free event - No Race Nomination fee - SailPASS required for all Non-Members)

Race starts at 13:00 (Individual Handicap Starts at 2 minute intervals)

A Start Sequence Number will be comunicated by the GBYC Tower to each boat before 13:00 - The Boat with Start Sequence No.1 will start first at 13:00

Boats will start in order of their allocated Start Sequence Number at each 2 minute interval (ie single boat starts every 2 minutes) after the first boat.

Race Start and Finish is at the normal GBYC Tower finish line (Between Red & Green Marks - approx 50m off beach in front of Club House)

GBYC Tower will be available via VHF 73 for any queries

SailPASS REQUIRED

All person participating in this event must have an active Australian Sailing Number - If you don't have one (it's easy to get one with SailPass)

SailPASS is free and provides you with an Australian Sailing Number + personal Insurance for the day at no cost.
