Geographe Bay Yacht Club - Learn to Sail for Adults and Older Teens

Course will run from  8.30am to Noon over 6 weeks every Saturday.

You will learn Boat Handling Skills, Confidence,  Safety and Sailing Theory

Please bring your Enthusiasm and Adventure Spirit.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Applying for an AUSTRALIAN SAILING NUMBER as part of this course - is Free to Register.

Once you begin registration for this course you will be prompted to obtain an Australian Sailing Number (or use your Current One if you have one). There are links provided to sign up for an Australian Sailing Number. Remember your number and then go back to the course to continue your registration.

This is Free and provides you access to Australian Sailing's Personal Insurance at no cost which you must have to participate in the course.

Please note that you do not need to be a member of this club to do this course.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a dinghy. All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Sailing Intro completion certificate. 

We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
