Please DO NOT direct any of your GBRW enquiries to either the Marina or RPYC.

We look forward to enjoying your camaraderie, yachting skills and like all race organisers, we will take the credit if the breezes are good and blame a higher authority if they’re not.

Cheers and Best wishes, Yours in Sailing

GBYC is running the 2018 Event

Firstly, a big thankyou to the RPYC and Port Geographe Marina for running the event fo rthe past 3 years.

Why did this happen?

Geographe Bay Yacht Club has no full-time salaried staff and the club is run entirely by volunteers – we are proud of our club and the history we have of “punching above our weight”.

In 2015 the club ran the Tasar Worlds – judged at the time by competitors as the “best yet”. The members upgraded the club house over the 12 months prior and then ran the actual regatta . We were stretched to say the least . RPYC and Port Geographe marina stepped up and ran GBRW….without them it would have folded.

Why was the date changed?
What's different for 2018?
Where do I moor my boat?
What is the Social Program?
