Welcome to Geographe Bay Race Week
Geographe Bay Race Week is Western Australia's premier yachting regatta and a much anticipated event among the Yachting fraternity. Competitors, spectators, family and friends come together to enjoy the festival atmosphere of the event’s on-water and off-water schedule. Every year Race Week attracts competitors from around the nation and offers a racing schedule suitable for all levels of sailing ability.
Geographe Bay Race Week 2021 is scheduled to run from Saturday 6th to Friday 12th February.
Hosted on the pristine waters of Geographe Bay in Busselton Western Australia, the event enjoys some of the best sailing conditions in the world. The picturesque setting of Geographe Bay and the surrounding Margaret River region offers many experiences for competitors and spectators with stunning coastlines and scenery, fine food and wine and unique tourism experiences.
Please note that Geographe Bay Yacht Club office is not manned full-time, so a little patience for email replies would be appreciated. Direct any Race Week enquiries to raceweek@gbyc.com.au AND NOT the Marina or RPYC.
We look forward to enjoying your camaraderie, yachting skills and like all race organisers, we will take the credit if the breezes are good and blame a higher authority if they are not.
Cheers and best wishes
Geographe Bay Race Week Committee.
